HEIC to PNG Converter

HEIC (and HEIF) is a modern image format commonly used by iPhones and iPads. It’s great for quality and file size, but some apps, printers, and websites still prefer PNG or JPEG.

Converting HEIC to PNG avoids adding another lossy compression step and creates a widely compatible file. PNG files are usually larger; JPEG is a better option when a smaller download matters more than lossless output.

Choose PNG for editing, graphics, screenshots, printing workflows, or services that reject HEIC. The output keeps the decoded pixels without another lossy compression pass, but the file can be much larger than the original HEIC.

Choose JPEG for email, messaging, and web uploads when a smaller file is more important. JPEG does not support transparency and uses lossy compression, so use the High setting when image detail matters.
